The Vertex Ladder is an independent Cairnfall circuit. Season 4 closes at Coldspur Hall, where a completed group stage has seeded all eight invited teams into a single elimination bracket. Following along costs nothing.

Open ladder play across Season 4 decides which eight teams receive an invitation to the Summit Finals. Ladder points, not buy-ins, are the only currency.
Group stage
Two groups of four, single round robin, best of three. Completed July 24 to 26. Group placement sets the seeding for the bracket.
Summit playoffs
All eight teams carry their seed into single elimination. Quarterfinals are best of three, semifinals and the grand final are best of five.
Following the finals
Every match is called live from the Summit Desk, the circuit's own broadcast team, with a replay posted after each playoff day. There is nothing to buy and nothing to subscribe to.
Match times are published in UTC on the schedule page and are confirmed the day before each playoff block. Coldspur Hall seats a small studio audience drawn from the competing teams' travelling parties.
Common questions
All answersDoes it cost anything to watch? No. The broadcast is free and there is nothing to purchase anywhere on this site.
Is there a buy-in to compete? No. Teams qualify on ladder points. The prize pool is awarded for placing in a competition of skill, it is not a wager and there is no buy-in.
